Alex Bush –
I’m really impressed with this purchase considering the price. The quality is excellent, and the knife feels substantial with its well-designed blade. The opening assist works flawlessly, and I feel confident using it for a variety of tasks thanks to its sturdy thickness.
Phillip Hunter –
I currently own five GW knives, and I just added this one to my collection—I’m thrilled once again!
The knife has a nice weight to it, providing a reassuring heft that feels great in my hand. The spring assist works flawlessly; you can easily flick it open, and it locks perfectly in place. My wife, who isn’t really into knives, appreciates its overall appearance, and she can also open it with a simple flick thanks to the smooth spring action.
It came with a handy tool for quick maintenance if it gets wet or sandy, along with an extra spring assist mechanism and a small screwdriver. I also noticed it includes a nylon cord that can be threaded through the bottom hole. I initially thought I wouldn’t use it, but it’s actually helping me locate the knife in my backpack with ease.
In my opinion, the quality is excellent for the price—truly unbeatable. I wasn’t planning to share a picture, but I feel confident recommending this knife along with the other two I purchased earlier. I keep a larger one in my backpack alongside this new addition. The black-handled models consistently get the most compliments, and I admit I enjoy showing them off.
The prices are hard to beat, the quality is outstanding, and they feel and look fantastic in hand. They arrive sharp and ready to use. Grab one for yourself and one as a gift—or even two for yourself! Or three!

I had some reservations about the price, but I was pleasantly surprised! The 440 blade is sharp, and the body feels solid with no blade wiggle. Although I haven’t used it yet, I believe it will meet my needs perfectly. I’m very happy with my purchase!

This knife is clearly crafted from high-quality steel and is incredibly durable. I really appreciate the spring technology incorporated into its design. After comparing it with some of my friends’ high-end knives, they all agreed that this one feels like it’s worth over $100! It’s definitely superior to their pricey options!
Phillip Hunter –
It doesn’t appear to be very durable. On the plus side, it has a nice sharp blade and a great design for the center lock, making it easy to open and, more importantly, close the knife even while wearing bulky gloves. Overall, it’s a decent knife.
Jackie Sins –
Right out of the box, this knife is impressively sharp and features a comfortable handle. It is slightly heavier than the typical spring-assisted knife from GW, but it’s not a significant issue. I found it a bit odd that the pocket clip needs to be screwed on by the user; I assume this is to give us the option to attach it or not. Fortunately, it wasn’t difficult to assemble, as it came with a small screwdriver designed for the screws in the handle, along with two spare screws. Overall, it’s an excellent product.
John Tam (If you ain’t CAV you ain’t ___!) –
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this knife, especially considering its low price. I ordered two, but ended up returning one because it had a slight binding issue. I’m particular about quality control, so if something seems off, I prefer to return it for a refund or replacement. The knife I sent back was still impressive for just $9; you really can’t beat that. It is a bit heavy, but that just reflects its solid construction. I was looking for a drop point style that I had seen before, but even the Tanto version at $9 is a great deal. Honestly, I think this knife rivals the quality of my Gerber 06 Fast. The 06 Fast is made in China and falls short compared to the US-made Gerber 06 Auto. It’s frustrating living in California where autos are not allowed, and getting warranty support from Gerber can be a hassle since it has to be done through email with long wait times. For just $9, this knife could potentially outshine Gerber in my opinion. I highly recommend getting this knife; you won’t regret it. I’d rate it 4 out of 5—would’ve given it a 5, but I couldn’t overlook the minor binding issue with the second one. The action is smooth and tight once deployed and locked, and while it’s a bit heavy for everyday carry, it’s still manageable.
